Fabrifresh is an upholstery and furniture cleaning company serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We don't sell your information, and we don't rent or trade it to anyone.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us when you request a quote or book a cleaning, plus what we record while doing the job:

  • Contact details. Your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Service address. Where the cleaning takes place, plus any parking or entry notes you give us.
  • Job details. The furniture and services you asked about, photos you send us, and notes from the appointment.
  • Payment records. Invoices and receipts. We do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Basic technical data. Your IP address and browser information when you use our website, which we use to keep the quote form from being abused.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Give you a quote and answer your questions
  • Schedule, carry out, and follow up on your cleaning
  • Send invoices and process payment
  • Keep a service history so we know what we have cleaned for you before
  • Contact you about promotions and discounts after a completed job (see below)
  • Meet our record-keeping obligations under Canadian law

Promotional offers and how to opt out

Once we've completed a job for you, we may reach out from time to time with promotions, seasonal discounts, or reminders that your furniture is due for another cleaning. We send these by email, text, or phone, using the contact details you gave us when you booked.

If you'd rather not hear from us, email support@fabrifresh.ca and ask to be unsubscribed. We'll take you off our promotional list and won't send you offers again. You'll still get messages about a booking you've actually made, such as appointment confirmations and invoices, since those aren't marketing.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the technicians assigned to your job and with the services we use to run the business:

  • Airtable. Stores our customer and job records.
  • Jotform. Runs the estimate request form.
  • Google Ads. Measures which ads lead to quote requests. Used on our advertising landing pages only.
  • Vercel. Hosts this website.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Canada, which means it may be subject to the laws of the country where it's held. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies and advertising

Most of this website runs without analytics or tracking cookies. Our advertising landing pages load Google Ads conversion tracking so we can tell which ads lead to quote requests. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Google's ad personalization in your Google account settings. Blocking them won't stop you from using the site or requesting a quote.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and job records for as long as you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have your service history if you come back. Invoices and payment records are kept for the period Canadian tax law requires. Quote requests that never turn into a booking are cleared out periodically.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, stop sending you promotions, or delete your records entirely. Email support@fabrifresh.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge.

How to delete your data

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We limit access to customer records to the people who need it to do their job, and the services we use are protected by passwords and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you've given us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here.
